The versatile DV Vac
vacuum system combines industrial class suction
with a high performance triple filtration system.
Its
positive displacement vacuum pump attains 12"
Hg. and actually pulls harder as the hose fills with material.
This
means DV Vac
can pick up material three times faster than vacuums using
centrifugal pumps.
The exclusive triple filter is the real story. First,
larger particulate is cyclonically separated with an internal baffle. Second, bag
filters capture 99.99% of particles larger than 0.4 microns. And third, a safety
filter provides backup protection that can easily be upgraded to HEPA type.
The
incredibly low noise levels on these large PD machines is the
result of 4th generation tuning of the silencers. These
sound levels are taken 3 ft from the end of the exhaust under
FULL LOAD.
Selection Notes:
The selection between these models is determined by use.
Generally, the longer the vacuum hose and the heavier the dust load, the more suction you
will want. If the powders you need to deal with are below
2 microns,
look for a machine with a air to cloth ratio less than
7.5:1.
DV Vac15
The 15 Hp
DV Vac
is a
serious machine for clean-up jobs that require the serious power. Tremendous for
ultra-fine powders, it easily supports a central vac piping system up to 400 ft
long. Makes a terrific little two operator system. Recommended for cleaning heavy
fines overhead, a 2" hose 100 ft long is no problem.
Conveys 80 pounds of
sand per minute through a 2" hose x 50 ft long.
DV Vac20
The least expensive 20 Hp
P.D. powered system on the market (less than 1/3 some competitive systems!!)
It is suitable for a 2.5" or
3" I.D. hose for moving high quantities of materials.
Even works on carbon black! External storage options increase available storage to two
cubic yards and more.
DV Vac25
The DV
25 Hp is
a tremendous machine suitable for a
3" I.D. hose for moving high quantities of materials.
Upgraded silencer means low noise even at 14" Hg.
Choose the 25 Hp for two x 2" hoses out to 200 ft long, and
still do serious work! Not recommended for
sub-micron fines. External storage options increase available storage to two
cubic yards and more.
DV Vac30
Least
expensive 30 Hp positive displacement vacuum on the market.
A good system for foundry sand, easily moves material at 200 lbs
per minute (5 TPH) though a 3" ID hose. Same power as
the "big boys" at 1/2 the price. Not recommended
for sub-micron fines. External storage options
increase available storage to two cubic yards and more.
